Directed by Mr. Michael Steele, Farmington High School has two band ensembles and an extra-curricular marching band

Concert Band/Concert Winds - an entry level group comprised mainly of 9th and 10th grade students.
Symphony Band - a secondary level group comprised of 10th-12th grade students.

More opportunities for band involvement:

Jazz Band - this extra-curricular ensemble group practices and performs periodically throughout the school year.
Marching Band - an award winning competing band comprised of 8-12th grade students.
Solo & Ensemble - participating students perform in small group ensembles or as soloists. Students perform for judges and are given a performance rating based on their individual/small group performance.
