Lesson Program

All FHS orchestra and band students are eligible for the private lesson program.

The program works as follows:

1. Student and parent contact a local private music teacher that specializes in your student’s instrument.

2. Parent contacts private lesson teacher to set up initial lesson. Parent inquires with the private lesson teacher about length of lesson and price per lesson.

3. Student attends 10 lessons with private teacher, and lessons are paid for directly to the teacher by student/parent.

4. Private teacher fills out attached Lesson Log for each lesson.

5. Once ten lessons have been completed and the Lesson Log has been filled out, the student returns the lesson log to their teacher.

6. FHS Music Patrons reimburse student/parent in the amount of $100.

Families will be reimbursed the $100 amount only when all ten-lessons have been completed.
