Student Accounts
Helping to save you Money
Expenses to send your child to Band Camp, to buy uniforms, to pay for lessons,
music program trips, etc. can quickly add up. The Music Patrons provides an
avenue to help defray some of these expenses by the use of “student accounts”.
Student Accounts are basically your own personal fundraiser. Any money you
earn for your student account is earmarked to help offset your child’s music
related expenses. The money can be applied to Marching Band fees, uniform
rental fees, school affiliated private lessons, or music trips. The money in a
student account cannot be “cashed out”; it must be spent on music related
expenses consistent with our charter as a non profit fundraising organization.
The most popular way of increasing your student account is our Scrip (gift card)
and Grocery Cards. You buy gift cards for restaurants and local groceries and a
percentage of your purchase is deposited into your student account. Other
opportunities for personal fundraising this year include Entertainment Books and
Fruit Sales. Check upcoming newsletters or the web page for details.
