ATTENTION PERCUSSIONISTS: You need to be at Chair Band! Chair Band is a rehearsal for percussionists only that focuses on playing technique and the specifics of drumline-style drumming. “Chair Band” Rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays 5—6:30 in FHS Band Room starting April 14th. These rehearsals will help prepare you for drumline tryouts at the end of the school year. Bring your sticks and, a folder for handouts and a rubber-style drumpad (if you have one). |
The following rehearsal dates are mandatory for participation and/or earning a Varsity Letter in the 2009 season. These dates and times should be marked on your family calendars and communicated to workplaces ASAP. Students will be participating in sectional rehearsals twice each month—independent of full rehearsal. These will be schedule by each section with the direction of the section leaders. Students must bring a water-bottle to each rehearsal. All students should plan on bringing lunches to the full rehearsals as they will not be permitted to leave the campus. |
